Welcome to a scramble picture puzzle. Press a 'Back' link on this page to return to the game.
Nine tiles make up the picture in the game.
When you press the 'Start' button, the tiles will scramble themselves, and one of them will become a blank, dark tile.
Your job is to get the picture back to normal by sliding the tiles about. A tile above or below or to the left or to the right of the blank may be moved by clicking on it. This will cause the clicked tile to switch places with the blank. In this way the tiles are moved about. Imagine that the tiles are sliding into the position of the blank, leaving the blank in their previous position.
You may select the amount of scrambling that will be performed on the picture. Select the 'A bit', 'Some', 'Enough' or 'Mega' radio button to set the scrambling amount. Then, click on the 'Start' button to scramble the tiles and begin the game.
Ironically, at times picking a large amount of scrambling will not apparently yield a much scrambled picture. This is because sometimes the random scrambling will reverse itself during the process. Also, the random routine that scrambles the tiles will at times try to shift a tile off of the game, which it will not actually do. So, a few of the scrambling moves may be dropped during the process, and this may, now and then, detract from the scrambling. Just click 'Start' again if you are unhappy over how little your puzzle is scrambled, or choose a greater scrambling amount.
You can watch the scrambling, if you want. Check the 'Watch' checkbox. This way proceeds slower than not watching.
You can click the 'Initialize' button at any time to see the picture completely restored. If done during game play, this initializing terminates the current game.
In some games there are two or more identical clear tiles. This makes it quite difficult to get these tiles to their correct locations. So, in these cases clear tiles have a small dot on them to show their relative position in the game. For example a tile like the following belongs in the upper left corner of the grid:
Clicking the 'Download all images...' button will take you to a page that causes all of the images in the game to be downloaded from the Internet at once. Although it probably will not take much download time if you do not do this, doing it may make the game play a bit smoother, especially at first.
